Hot on the release of her new studio album, Ms. Kelly: Deluxe Edition, Grammy winning R&B/pop superstar Kelly Rowland will be hitting Australian shores this week for a brief promotional tour.

In Australia to promote her album Ms. Kelly: Deluxe Edition, Kelly will be performing her smash hit single Work and current single Daylight during TV appearances including on Rove this Sunday (June 1), in addition to a wirlwhind schedule of appearances on Weekend Sunrise, The Morning Show, Good News Week, Video Hits, Channel V, Sky News, The Music Jungle, Eclipse Music TV, Getaway, MTV, and all major radio programs. Kelly will also be recording an episode of the upcoming Australian series of Project Runway, set to screen on Arena TV in August.

Following her performance of Work and her new single, Daylight, on Sunrise next Friday (June 6), Kelly be making her only public appearance at the 7 Store in Sydney from 9.15am to 10am as she signs copies of her new album. Kelly will also be performing exclusively at the Xbox Beauty and Beast party on Thursday June 5 in Sydney.

The Ms. Kelly: Deluxe Edition features several new Kelly Rowland tracks including the previously-unreleased Daylight (featuring Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes) fresh from being the second most added song on Australian radio last week and remixes of the international smash Work - which is still enjoying massive radio airplay in Australia.

"These new tracks were too hot to hold onto," said Kelly Rowland, "so I decided to release them now all together now so my fans could get into them as soon as possible. I hope everyone enjoys the new songs as much as I did recording them. I have the best fans in the world and it makes me really happy to be able to give them these new songs."

Ms. Kelly: Deluxe Edition is Kelly's first new collection of songs since June 2007 when Ms. Kelly, her second solo album, entered the Billboard Top 200 at #6, giving Kelly her first US Top 10 album as a solo artist, while debuting on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at #2.

Ms. Kelly was the long-awaited successor to Rowland's best-selling 2002 gold-certified solo debut album, Simply Deep, which has sold more than two million copies worldwide. Peaking at #5 in Australia, #1 in the UK, #3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Album chart and #12 on the Billboard Top 200, Simply Deep included the smash hit, Dilemma, Kelly's duet with rapper Nelly, which earned the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2003 and spent 10 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100.

As one of the vocal superstars and founding members of Destiny's Child, the top-selling female group of all time, Kelly Rowland proved a major contributing force as the trio racked up sales of more than 60 million records worldwide while earning two Grammy Awards in the Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals category (in 2000 for Say My Name and 2001 for Survivor).

Kelly Rowland will serve as the 2008 Ambassador for MTV's Staying Alive Foundation. Her role as ambassador will see her travel to Africa in June 2008 to visit some of the Foundation's grantees, as well as grassroots projects which it supports and funds. Kelly is passionate about this cause and is excited to lend not only her name but her efforts to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS.
