TOUR NEWS: Highly Rated Announce European Tour

Acclaimed Grime trio Highly Rated, which consists of D Dark, Exploder & Beckz Winter, have recently announced the dates for their upcoming European tour, which will take place throughout March.

Highly Rated originally formed in 2007, earning their stripes with appearances on a variety of pirate and commercial stations throughout the United Kingdom and beyond, including BBC 1Xtra, Choice FM, KISS FM, Heat FM and many more.

Their most notable releases include the hit Mission Riddim (Touchdown Records), which went on to sell over 2000 copies and feature in the BBC’s Panorama documentary series.

D Dark also featured on Fluke's massive Wifey Riddim in 2006, which received prodigious support from all of the UK's the major FM stations.

Other significant recorded moments include the Grime Time Vol 1 compilation, as well as Xploder’s debut video They Don’t Know, which reached Channel U's Top 20 chart, and the follow up Breakin’ The Scene featuring In Da Hood and Crazy Titch, which broke into Channel U’s Top 10 chart.

Highly Rated recently released their anticipated debut group mixtape Blackstard Edition 1. The lead single Blackstars is timed in support of the Ghanian National Football Team (also nicked named The Black Stars), as they embark on their challenge of winning the African Nations Cup competition held on their home soil this year.

The single Blackstars b/w Stupid (solo track by Beckz Winter) will be released digitally on March 3 2008.
