This coming February, Sweden’s premier beat maestro Freddie Cruger a.k.a Red Astaire will be returning to Australia.

In 2006 Freddie released his critically acclaimed debut album Soul Search on no less than four of the world’s best record labels simultaneously; Tru Thoughts, Ubiquity, Raw Fusion and Creative Vibes. An innovative blend of sampled beats, constructed rhythms, Hip Hop sounds and smooth new soul, Soul Search won legions of fans for its futuristic approach in conjunction with subtle old school flavours.

Fellow artists from all over the world were quick to dole out their praise. Everyone from Andy Smith to Jazzy Jeff, Mark Ronson to Anthony David keep Freddie’s beats on high rotation.

Freddie last hit Australian shores to play the big stage in support of heavyweight US funk outfit, Breakestra. This time around Freddie will be bringing his ecclectic party style to a more intimate club setting as he plays two exclusive shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
