R&B NEWS: Michelle Williams Album Pushed Back

Michelle Williams' upcoming solo project, Unexpected, was pushed back. It was slated for an August 12th release but has now been pushed back to early October.

Williams was as surprised to hear about the delay as fans were, and she was disappointed, according to a recent MySpace blog posting. "I am so sorry about the news of my album," she wrote. "Trust me ... when they told me I was numb for two days and couldn't talk to anybody. I had sooooooooooooo many questions of as to why they'd push my album back three weeks before the original release date. I will be honest and say that I am disappointed ... Things will work out for the good!!!! I will still WIN!!!!!"

Her album is now slated for October 7th.
