R&B NEWS: Mary J and Steve Stoute Launch Women's Support Network

Hip Hop soul queen Mary J. Blige will join forces with music executive Steve Stoute to motivate women to reach their full potential. The pair launched their new organization, FFAWN: the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. last week during a press conference at Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, New York.

Founded by Blige, FFAWN is dedicated towards inspiring women to reach their individual goals through scholarships, grants, and programs that promote strong self-esteem, career development and personal growth. Along with Blige, the organisation’s board of directors will include Stoute, Jada Pinkett Smith, Charles Wright, Kendu Isaacs, Lisa Price and Samantha Fink.
