NEWS: The Funky Bunch Return

When Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch emerged into prominence in the 1990s through the introduction of founder and New Kid On The Block member Donnie Wahlberg, the creative music group were stylists with immediatly recognizable vocals, lyrical delivery and chart-busting prowess.

At the height of Hip Hop music's early mainstream popularity, they carved out an undeniable niche with their #1 Hit Song, Good Vibrations.

Life after Platinum (The Funky Bunch's debut album achieved double platinum status) for many recording artists would mean that their best days are behind them. But for The Funky Bunch, now emerging as the cultivated ensemble of The Funk Bs, life continues, with the release of their upcoming summer album, Still Standing.

Still Standing's lead single, She Said (written by Scott Ross, Chad Penne, Michael Wilder and Producer-D Sharpe) is currently garnering a radio buzz in the US, Canada and Germany.

An aggressive promotional street and club campaign will be implemented in key cities in the US, starting with their home market of Boston. To celebrate the release of their new CD, the 8-member ensemble is
scheduled to bring their live show for a 10 concert tour in Canada, followed by a multi-city tour in the US
(rumored to possibly be on the New Kids On The Block Tour) this summer.

Still Standing, a 10-track collection, is scheduled for release in August 2008 through Canadian-based label Suave Dawg Records.
