NEWS: OZONE Awards To Air On MTV Jamz (U.S.)

The Second Annual OZONE Awards, which took place in Orlando, Florida on Monday August 13, will be airing throughout Labor Day weekend in the United States. 

The ceremony will premiere on Friday August 31 at 8pm on MTV Jamz, as well as through the rest of the weekend, including repeated screenings on Saturday September 1.

The dynamic and exciting award ceremony, which honored and celebrated the best southern and west coast Hip Hop talent, was run and organized by TJ's DJ's and the highly respected OZONE Magazine, which was launched by Julia Beverley in 2002.

Hosted by popular comedians Charlie Murphy and Lil' Duval, the event features performances from the likes of Lil' Wayne, Rich Boy, Young Jeezy & USDA and Keak Da Sneak. The event opened with a performance of DJ Khaled's mega-hit We Takin' Over.

The awards given out on the night include Best Rap Artist Male/Female, Best Newcomer (which includes sub-categories for several states) and TJ's DJ's Hustler of the Year, among many others.
