NEWS: Cee-Lo & Jack Black Remake Kung Fu Fighting

Two world's have recently collided, as the unlikely duo of Hip Hop veteran Cee-Lo and actor/musician Jack Black have remade the classic song Kung Fu Fighting, originally recorded by Carl Douglas in 1974.

The collaboration, which pairs the Gnarls Barkley frontman with the voice of Tenacious D, is the first single from the soundtrack to the new animated film Kung Fu Panda (which features the voice talents of Jack Black).

Joining Black as part of the cast are Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu and others. Jack Black plays the lead character, a lazy panda bear called Po.

Kung Fu Fighting will be available from May 27 (including on iTunes). The Kung Fu Panda soundtrack will be released on June through Interscope Records. Meanwhile, Kung Fu Panda hits theatres in the U.S. on June 6.
