NEWS: 20-11-06 :: Ms. Dynamite injured in crash :: Xmas with Jim Jones :: Master P's new DVD

UK Rapper Ms. Dynamite was injured in a high speed car crash, while filming for the UK reality TV show The Race. Ms. Dynamite, born Niomi McLean-Daley, was treated at the track's medical center and was unconscious after the accident. Shortly after, the north London rapper was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, where she is being kept for observation.

Jim Jones is celebrating the holiday season with A Dipset X-Mas. The album hits stores December 5 and will feature Jones and his Dipset cohorts on songs like Wish List, Ballin' On Xmas, and If Everyday Was Xmas. The ten-track release also features unreleased material including the remix to Jones' hit single, We Fly High, which features Diddy, T.I., Young Dro, and Baby.

Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels of Run-DMC and DMX were among the performers at this year's Day of the Child celebration in New York. Presented by New York City’s Administration for Children's Services and Children Uniting Nations, the Day of the Child is described as the community's way of reaching out to at-risk youth in an effort to expose them to mentors who are available to help and guide them.

The Inc. CEO, Irv Gotti, is putting his deal with Universal Motown to use. Gotti recently announced the signing of the label's newest artist, Vanessa Carlton. The classically trained Carlton joined the fold after a chance meeting by Jolene Cherry, the head of Cherry Entertainment, and Gotti was immediately impressed by the singer.

Kanye West has signed on to sponsor a race car in the Formula BMW World Finals being held this November in Valencia, Spain. The rapper's car will showcase his Bear Mascot featured on his album covers, along with the logo of two of the star's favorite charities -- Kanye West Foundation and the United Nations World Food Program.

The lovely Beyonce Knowles is set to star in a new movie with Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx called Dream Girls. MTV is set to premiere her video for the soundtrack’s first single Listen, at 3:30 PM on TRL and at 11PM during prime time.

Percy 'Master P' Miller is putting his business skills to use outside the music arena with his new book Guaranteed Success. The educational book, which is also available on CD and DVD, represents Miller's goal of educating those interested in benefiting from the power of Hip-Hop from a financial stand point. Guaranteed Success is the culmination of four years worth of work by Miller, who spent time networking with movers and shakers as well as learning about financial investments, stocks, real estate, and taxes.

The Reyes Brothers (Sen Dog and Mellow Man Ace), have just completed the video for their new single Traffic. Shot in sections of downtown Los Angeles, Compton and the Reyes Brothers' hometown of South Gate, California, the video captures the intoxicating 'gas/break/dip' energy of West Coast car culture, along with the party atmosphere of a backyard BBQ filled with girls, pitbulls, roosters, low-lows and all the homies.

DJ Red Alert will host the 10th Annual Justo Mixtape Awards, which will take place December 7 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. The Mixtape Awards was created by Justo Faison to honor the unheralded role of the mixtape DJ in breaking new records and artists. Tragically, Faison was killed in May of 2005 in a car accident in Richmond, Virginia. This year's event will honor Loud Records founder Steve Rifkind with the Mixtape Top Executive and Life Time Achievement Award. Other nominees include Green Lantern, Kay Slay, Clinton Sparks, Camilio, Drama and K-Sly, while artists like Young Jeezy, Game, Papoose, Chamillionaire and others are up for awards.
