Nick Cannon has unleashed his new show Wild 'N Out via MTV. The improv-style show also features a special celebrity to go up against Nick, with each leading their own team of comedians in various games with a hip-hop edge. Wild 'N Out airs every Thursday at 10pm. Cannon has also launched Short Circuitz - a sketch comedy show where viewer’s can submit their own shorts and the top three will make it to air and earn them $1,000. Short Circuitz Season 2 airs every Thursday.

Due to the first run of Life's A Lesson selling out quickly, Australian MC, Reason, has brought this revamped EP back bigger and better as a re-release CD. In addition to featuring a range of international and local guests including Level Headed (Train Of Thought), Dark Circle (UK), Dark Tower (NZ) and Nadav (Still Thinking) it has two bonus remixes by Debris and Jase with fresh new artwork.

Jermaine Dupri was recently involved in a car accident in New York that sent his driver to the hospital with minor injuries. Dupri’s Cadillac Escalade was completely totaled, sending one of Dupri's security guards to a local hospital with a broken arm.

Daddy Yankee, has been hospitalised for acute viral syndrome and dehydration, while promoting his latest album. He was exhausted after completing several promotional appearances related to his latest album, The Cartel: The Big Boss. Due to his hospitalization, Daddy Yankee has cancelled all public appearances for at least a week while he recovers.

With all four members ensconced in solo projects, the Black Eyed Peas have been unusually dormant in 2007. Fergie says it may be that way for a little while longer. The group won't be completely invisible this year. The quartet will perform at the London Live Earth concert on July 7 and at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival on Aug. 11 in Tokyo and Aug. 12 in Osaka.

Kurtis Blow and his group The Trinity are hitting the road as part of the Hip Hop Ministry Tour, which aims to spread the messages of Jesus Christ. The tour also features guest appearances by other 'holy Hip-Hop' artists, including Noah, Urban D and west coast Tha Gim. Kurtis Blow, a pioneering Hip-Hop artist is now a licensed minister and preaches around the country. He will perform new music from the Hip Hop Ministry compilation album and debut songs from his new group The Trinity, which consists of Blow, Louisville Kentucky rapper Chris Flow and Ricky B.

Akon added another rapper to his Konvict Muzik roster during Hot 97's Summer Jam concert, when he officially announced that he had signed Brooklyn rapper Red Cafe. While on stage on Sunday, Akon presented Red Cafe with a Konvict Muzik chain, then proceeded to predict that the rapper is "gonna bring New York back."

Joseph "Reverend Run" Simmons has inked a deal with Gotham Books worth more than $1 million and will write a new, untitled book addressing the issues of a family. To promote the book, Rev. Run and his wife Justine will embark on a bus tour described as a mobile, multi-media, and multi-faceted campaign, which will provide a direct way of spreading their gospel to the public.

There is a Dr Octagon remix album in the works. The Return of Dr Octagon, which was released last year to great reviews, will be getting the remix treatment from artists like superstars Bonde do Role who will be remixing Al Green for the new album, Spank Rock who have pumped up Trees, Dr Octagon’s own DJ Kut Masta Kurt, The Return of producers One Watt Sun will be touching up two tracks as well as Spragga Benz, Fettes Brot and Kid Loco with many more MASSIVE names to be announced.

Britain's High Court has ordered that the operators of CD Wow pay a "substantial" damages sum to the U.K. recording industry after finding the Internet retailer guilty of illegally importing CDs and music DVDs from Asia. As a result of the court decision last week, CD Wow's Hong Kong-based firm's parent company Music Trading Online must pay £41 million ($81 million).
