HIP HOP NEWS: Swizz Beatz Encourages Youth

Super-producer Swizz Beatz has signed on to take part in It's SHOWTIME: In Theatre Event Series.

The event is being run by the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth by promoting education and positive decision making. The organization enlists the talents of musicians and entertainers to provide support and encouraging messages to young people.

The event will be taking place on Thursday August 9 at the AMC Lincoln Square Theatre in New York. Swizz Beatz will perform, as well as answering questions and taking photos. Veteran MTV VJ and Hip Hop personality Sway will co-host the show.

Swizz Beatz says "It's an honor to be a voice that can encourage young kids to stay in school......Growing up, I looked up to celebs like myself!!  So to be able to talk to these kids face to face and answer their questions and interact with them is great!!  It's going to be a great day for both the kids and myself...".
