HIP HOP NEWS: Swizz Beatz and DJ Toomp To Be Honored

Veteran hit-makers Swizz Beatz and DJ Toomp will be honored for their contributions to Hip Hop production during the annual One Stop Shop producer's conference. The event, which is run by former G-Unit Records producer Sha Money XL, will take place over two days, Saturday March 8 and Sunday March 9, in Phoenix, Arizona.

One Stop Shop allows aspiring Hip Hop producers the opportunity to consult with industry professionals and established Hip Hop producers, as well as getting caught up with all the latest in technology trends, from companies such as M Audio and Microsoft.

The festivities that attendees can take part in include industry workshops/panel discussions, video game tournaments, after parties hosted by various big name New York DJs and the One Stop Shop Beat Battle.

In addition to the events honorees, fellow superstar producers DJ Quik, DJ Premier, Hi-Tek, No I.D, 9th Wonder and Nottz will be lending their talents and expertise to the various panels and workshops. Other panelists will include Wendy Day (Rap Coalition), Chuck Creekmur (All Hip Hop), Bonsu Thompson (XXL), Julia Beverley (Ozone) and Lenny S (Def Jam). Swizz released One Man Band Man last year.
