Hip Hop superstar Snoop Dogg may be allowed back into the United Kingdom after being barred from entering the country in 2006. In a court hearing next week the British government will be attempting to appeal the original ruling.
In April 2006, the famed rapper (born Cordozar Calvin Broadus) was arrested at Heathrow Airport in London following an alleged brawl with airport police (which also involved his entourage) and was charged with violent disorder. The 36-year-old was then subsequently barred from ever entering the UK.
Despite a successful appeal of the ban in January 2007, where he received clearance to enter the country from an asylum and immigration tribunal, authorities denied Snoop a visa forcing him to cancel his British tour with P. Diddy.
Following his issues in the UK Snoop was barred from entering Australia in April 2007, a matter which he has been battling for almost a year.
