With a whirlwind of controversy already surrounding his upcoming album, Ni**er, iconic rapper Nas has released the first track from the album, called Be A Ni**er.
While the motives behind the name of his ninth studio album may have been unclear previously, the new single, produced by longtime collaborator Salaam Remi and Big Jack, gives a glimpse into what direction the album may take.
In addition to taking aim at the NAACP, the Queensbridge rapper refers to several ethnicties by with using the N-word and their respective racial epithets; Jews (Kike Ni**ers), Hispanics (Spic Ni**ers), Italians (Guinea Ni**ers) and Asians (Chink Ni**ers).
The song's hook borrows from Dr. Pepper’s famed advertising jingle Wouldn’t You Like to Be a Pepper Too.
The album Ni**er is due out later in 2008 through Def Jam Records.
