Grammy Award winner Murphy Lee is set to debut the music video for Murph Derrty, the first single from his upcoming album You See Me.
Best known for the hits Shake Ya Tailfeather and Wat Da Hook Gon Be, Murphy Lee returns to the scene with another derrty track.
Murph announces that he is a "certified rapper" who is ready to bring the spotlight back to the St. Louis rap scene, as he holds it down in the style fans have come to expect from Nelly and the St. Lunatics crew. The video gives a window into a day in the life of Murph, as he works in the studio, rolls in his nice rides, sports LSU gear and lives a life of luxury.
As a teenager, Murphy Lee joined up with his friends, including Nelly, to create the St. Lunatics. After appearing on Nelly's first release, Country Grammar, in 2000, Murph then went onto release his
solo album Murphy's Law in 2003. He has worked with Jermaine Dupri, Lil' Wayne and won a Grammy for the song Shake Ya Tailfeather featuring Nelly and Diddy.
The new album You See Me will be released in summer 2008 through Derrty Ent/U-C Me Ent.
