Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Dr. Donda West prior to her death from surgery complications, has been cleared of any wrong doing in regard to the sudden November 10 death of the 58 year old former college professor.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office recently released a 17-page autopsy report, which states that “no sign of surgical or anesthetic misadventure” was found.

While the cause of death remains unknown, the report did note that “pre-existing coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors,“ including the use of pain medication, may have been possible causes.

Donda West, the mother of music superstar Kanye West, originally visited Dr. Adams for a tummy tuck, breast reduction and liposuction. According to the coroner’s report, West acted against doctor’s orders by returning home after her surgery.

Prior to managing her son's career and co-founding the Kanye West Foundation, which aims to help assist with the severe rates of dropouts in high schools across the U.S, Dr. West was the chair of Chicago State University’s Department of English and Speech in 2004.
