HIP HOP NEWS: DJ Perplex to Defend Aussie DMC Championship

Chasing his third consecutive crown, Melbourne’s DJ Perplex has officially announced that he will be defending his Australian title in the 2008 DMC World DJ Championships, proudly presented by TDK and DMC Australia.

At only 24, Perplex (a.k.a. Ollie Winter), has reached the heights of the Australian DJ scene and will be looking to score the hat trick at this year’s event.  Lauded as an international up and comer, Perplex picked up an impressive ninth position at the World Finals in London last year whilst representing Australia. Bridging the gap between technicality and musically engaging sets is what Perplex does best. With battle experience against the world’s greatest DJs, DJ Perplex will be powerfully armed to defend his title in 2008.
