FUNK NEWS: New CDB album Funk Sessions to be released October 11th

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, CDB are Gary Pinto, Andrew De Silva, Brad Pinto and Danny Williams.

You may remember them from their platinum debut album in 1995 which included the cover of Let’s Groove, a number one smash, which went on to become the highest selling Australian single that year.

Since then, the boys have been busy collaborating with an array of artists such as Guy Sebastian, Anthony Callea, Mr Timothy, Ricki-Lee, Jessica Mauboy and Natalie Bassingthwaite.

CDB are back with a brand new studio album, Funk Sessions, a collection of classic funk covers from Good Times and Word Up to Forget Me Nots and Get Down On It. The first track to be lifted from the album is PYT (Pretty Young Thing), a salute to the Michael Jackson track from Thriller, one of the biggest selling albums of all time.

PYT (Pretty Young Thing) is available October 4, and Funk Sessions is out October 11.
