Keywords:
One of Australia's largest urban collaborations of vocal artists, Hip Hop dance crews, break dancers, krumpers, DJs, rappers, beat boxers, musicians and choirs will be taking place on Saturday April 26 at the Arts Centre (Hamer Hall) in Melbourne.
The Make A Change Concert promises to be a one-of-a-kind music event, hosted by former Harlem Globetrotter Dwayne Cross, with all of the proceeds going to the World Vision, Alounmai Food Security Project in Laos. Make A Change is presented by the Rhythm Project (RP).
The Rhythm Project is a non-profit organisation that aims to encourage youth (ages 6-29) to use their skills to take a stand against world poverty. Since its establishment in 2002, RP has been raising awareness and financial support for various World Vision projects via its groups and events. However, it is important to note that RP is more than a fundraising entity. It radiates a revolutionary concept that challenges our individual mindsets in regards to how we approach the unfortunate poverty climate in our world.
Make A Change will feature performances by some of Australia's best and brightest talents including: The Rhythm Project, Joel Turner, Jade MaCrae, Emily Williams, DJ A-Style, Israel Cruz, Gary Pinto, Andrew De Silva, KSTAR, Wickid Force, Tantrumm, Motley, Angela Librandi, Soloi Kalepo, Kent Len, Tanya Ari, Tha Breakthru Concept Family (BCFAM), Anne Robertson, Tania G, Random, Natalie Ruiz, DJ Damion De Silva, Tino, Markia, Mose, Jason Heerah, Luke Hodgson, Rebecca Ari, Aaron Len, Jared Haschek, Lalita Ari, Alex Shukin and more.
