Its that time again! Late Night Hype is back on Friday August 1st for a special VJ Jam featuring J-Red (Australia’s only world DJ Champion) and DJ Flagrant (Your mum’s favourite DJ).

Combine two of Australia’s best hip hop DJs with new skool technology and thousands of your favourite filmclips, and what do you get?  4 hours of aural and visual craziness! See your favourite hip hop clips scratched, flipped, juggled and mashed into oblivion before your eyes on multiple screens across the venue!

DJ J-Red is a man that needs no introduction to those in the Australian hip hop scene. A DJ icon who dominated the DMC Teams event for years with partner in crime Selekt, he took things to a new level in 2005 when he officially became the first Australian to win a world title, taking out the X-Perimental category at the World ITF Championships with a groundbreaking set on the Pioneer DVJs.

As well as rocking numerous clubs in Melbourne and hosting his own night 'All Good' on Wednesday's, J-Red has toured extensively and supported some of the biggest names in the game including Jurassic 5, Ozomatli, Gangstarr, Afrika Bambatta, Method Man, Redman, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Masta Ace just to name a few!

One of the biggest showman and busiest DJs in the scene, Flagrant has done it all. From radio to journalism to artist management, Flagrant has added another feather to his cap by becoming the first DJ in Australia to use Numark’s Virtual Vinyl VJ setup to twist film clips into a visual assault accompanying his always party rocking track selection.

Having recently released Homegrown Vol 1 through Grindin, Flagrants' profile has gone through the roof with mothers all over the country locking up their daughters when he comes to town.
