Before reviewing this, I was under the impression that Nelly hadn't been on point since Country Grammar. After reviewing this, my impression hadn't changed. What our ex band-aid wearing friend has done here is, taken a relatively well known melody, put quite a nice soft bass kick on it, and spat utter garbage over the top of it.
The first feeling you get once the hook kicks in is annoyance, it does not match the beat one bit, and what's even more annoying is the fact that you know Nelly can do much better. For such a promising beat, where even a Kelly Rolland/Nelly track would have sufficed, Wadsyaname is not even worth knowing the name of. I'm not even going to critique the break down in the song, because it caused a breakdown in me.

hah ha
oh my dear lord that is the most honest and clear review ever. beat had so much potential, and he screams some stupid South style crap on it. bah, he's been able to do some really cool stuff before with sampled tracks but he's screwed it up this time. major bin
