Single: Mint Condition - Nothing Left To Say

Mint Condition was a powerhouse in the mid 90s with lead vocalist Stokley Williams helping them create a groovy R&B sound. After a five year break following 1999’s Life's Aquarium the guys released Livin' the Luxury Brown in 2005 and now E-Life which includes the single Nothing Left To Say. 

This is classic Mint Condition, so the track hits the spot for me. The opening stabs sound like the beginning of Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes) (arguably my favourite Mind Condition track). However, new listeners familiar to a more producer driven sound may be disappointed. Stockly’s soaring vocals are not pushed but he rides the mid tempo groove to great affect.

Not for a young audience but more for lovers of 90s R&B and those who appreciate a live sound free of computer generated pop corn beats.
