Single: Ja Rule - 300

Movies inspire us to do different things. For me, the movie 300 made me consider doing some situps for a moment - for Ja, it inspired him to write a hard hitting track to mark his comeback. It's been a while since Ja Rule had the opportunity to bless my ears, but so far, I'm none too impressed with his efforts. This track is solid but not extraordinary. An awesome guitar chord backs the beat and the energy in this track has the potential to pump some adrenaline around in ya.

As for Ja's lyrical prowess ... it's also solid. His style is like a time capsule and picks up where he left us last time. The major downfall of "300" is that Ja only has one verse and lends the other two to his homies. I'd probably dig this track more if I understood what he says too. Put this one while you watch 300 and you have an all out ball rockin' testosterone milkshake.
