Single: Devin The Dude - Anythang

The Lord is my shepherd! He knows what I want! And that is why he gave Devin The Dude the ability to make this great track. Smooth, smooth, smooth! A nice, relaxing R&B beat…the type of beat that makes you just want to spark a spliff and zone the hell out. Being an R&B track it usually means that the lyrics are rather bland and boring, but they (like Devin The Dude’s voice and looks) are forgivable, because the beat itself is so damn smooth.

The only downside to Anythang is the guitar teasing within the track. Every now and then you hear what seems to be an upcoming guitar solo...but it never comes!!! Especially around the end, that’s just a damn shame because you prepare yourself for something which either didn’t appear on that cut of the track or didn't appear at all. Maybe if you can cop an extended version you might get it.

Overall though, there are only two things not beautiful about this track – the guitar tease is misleading and disappointing, and Devin’s voice is forgivably ugly…much like his physical appearance.
