Nya Jade – One Pill

One Pill is a song about the quick fixes in life that we use all too often just to get up everyday. The song questions the merits of battling depression by dieting or taking pills. Nya Jade's song urges us to use different avenues to battle those dark days, as quick fixes such as 'pills' are largely useless. Nya Jade’s luminous singing is backed by an enchanting guitar and a prominent bass-line (which for some reason reminded me of MJ's Billy Jean), and the overall effect is fantastic.
