Here we see New Zealand’s DJ Juse getting Tied Up with Melbourne’s Daniel Merriweather and Phrase on Global Casino. Merriweather’s smooth vocals fuse well with Juse’s soulful beat while the backing singers, the piano and clapping add to the sound. What holds this song together, are verses by Phrase and the New Zealand new-comer Ethical. Merriweather’s singing fills up the gaps in between each verse but it’s a tad over done. Tied Up would satisfy any Juse or Merriweather fan looking for an easy listen.
