Snow, hail, and rain

One late night I’m driving down the highway headed home. The newscasters had announced there would be an ice storm in my area. I didn’t get the memo.

Snow, hail, and rain were bouncing off my car at the same time. The outside was so fogged that it was difficult to see the hood of the car. It was close to being a perfect storm and all there was in my car was me and my music.

A lot of thoughts were going through my head but the music from the car stereo was actually helping me keep my composure. I was singing along with the tracks as a sort of soothing exercise preventing me from panicking due to the conditions outside. Where would people like me be without music? Music is a beautiful thing and should be created by inspirational, talented, and devoted musicians. We cannot let music be ruined by those who cheat, steal and/or use music as a get rich quick scheme.

I know music is one of the main things that keeps me going each day. Every single day I believe I have to listen to music. I’m sure the people dedicated to the Planet Urban site can agree with me on this topic. It is great that we could share common interests from opposite sides of the world.
