Single: Flo-Rida ft. Timbaland - Elevator

Here, Timbaland, arguably the best producer in the world teams up with fresh faced MC Flo-Rida on Elevator. It’s great that Timbaland is collaborating with so many artists, he seems to be one of the few out there presenting great music as it should be. I didn’t know what to expect of this track but I knew I had to hear it.

I’ve enjoyed both artists’ previous efforts and was curious to hear how a song would sound with them working together. First off I’d have to say I found the lyrics on display to be hilarious. “This girl is stuck on my elevator, get it up” I wonder how they came up with these choice words? This is not the best song Timbaland has produced, despite saying that I’m not surprise that the beat is still good. The beat starts off slow with a soothing piano melody and then comes a hard base kick until finally the beat drops.

I could see this song being played a lot in clubs. Flo-Rida’s verses make you want to move where you stand and Timbaland’s chorus leaves the song stuck in your head. Overall the song is good. I danced to it!
