Single: Usher ft. Pharrell - Only One

I felt lost, confused, and very disappointed hearing this song. This is definitely not Usher’s or Pharrell’s best tune by far. I was quite excited to hear a collaborative song between these two artists but once that average beat started, I literally put my hands on my forehead. And then the worst high pitched sound of “only one” rang in my ear and made me jump. I was forced to turn down the sound just so I could handle it. I have never turned down the volume to an Usher song but wow! Usher’s verses seemed like he didn’t even try.

There is no feeling, no heart, no soul, no Usher that we all love to listen to. The beat was lacking a lot of substance. Overall, it sounded like Usher and Pharrell made a beat in five minutes and took 15 minutes to add the voice. I really believe Usher and Pharrell could have made a much better track than this.
