  • How do I submit a track?

Please send all music files to streams@planeturban.com.au. We only except mp3 files (minimum quality of 44khz and 128Kbps). Or alternatively send an audio CD to: Suite 10, 493 Riversdale Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124 Australia.

  • How does the Planet Urban Chart work?

You can vote for as many tracks as you want but only once in their lifetime.  Each IP address can vote for a certain track once. Tracks are ranked by a SCORE. The score is based on the votes. A vote adds +1 to the score. Each day all the tracks in the top 30 lower their scores by 4% and the tracks from 30 and beyond by 2%. So the latest tracks are always on top.

  • Can I submit a track to the site that cannot be download. Can it be streamed?

We can't guarantee that no one will be able to download it. But we use flash technology to make their job hard. By using sophisticated software some people may be able to download the track.

  • Can I submit my video clip?

Yes. Please send the file to streams@planeturban.com.au.we in mpeg 2 format. Alternatively send the files as a data DVD or a DVD to: Suite 10, 493 Riversdale Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124 Australia.

  • How do I post comments on the site?

You must first register on the site. Please click the link below to register yourself then click ‘comment’ on pages where comments are accepted.

  • Can I submit an album for review?

Yes but as we review many albums we can’t guarantee yours will be acceptable or reviewed. Please send the audio CD with relevant bio and press details to: Suite 10, 493 Riversdale Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124 Australia.

  • How can I submit news?

Please send all your news to news@planeturban.com.au. However, if the news is considered old or irrelevant the news may not be published.

  • I sent out a CD for review but it was never featured on the site?

We receive an enormous number of CDs, DVDs etc everyday. So we have to prioritize what gets published first. Some CDs we receive are very badly and some are damaged. You can send an e-mail to inquire about this.

  • I want to advertise but I don’t have much money?

  • How do I make comments on the comic?
