A Walk In The Park?

After watching Forest Gump recently I felt inspired to tell you all about a stupid although inspiring story of debauchery, vice and determination. This incident happened after another grand night of drinks, music and podium shenanigans. This particular night which already had highlights was to become more than just a night on the town. This night ended up becoming a night on a few towns or suburbs at least. This doesn’t sound all that impressive initially but when it is done on foot then it gets interesting.
Acts calling off tours.. what is up with that!!??

After a few acts called off their long awaited tours in Australia I felt obligated to have a public bitch about the whole scenario. It made me think in the end, what really is the cause of a cancelled tour?
My top 10 Albums of the year... shazaaam!

OK the end of another year is upon us and this time last year I was struggling to settle on a top 20 let alone a top 10. So when 2007 started unleashing music upon the public I was skeptical as to how potent it would be compared to 2006 or the year I like to call 'The Year For The Bestest Music Ever.'
Well, let's not dwell on the past, shall we look at this year's list?
The 10 Podium Commandments

Night clubs have always been frequented by a variety of people, many with particular needs and others with very simple ones. The only need I have when visiting a club is good music and a podium.
Unlike many, I don’t use the podium to ‘hock my wares’ or act like some Narcissistic He-Man. I really just need a place to escape the boring, uniformed, flat masses of the common club population.
Crazy Little Thing Called Music

Alot of you may know the Queen classic - Crazy Little Thing Called Love. But in my lifetime, I believe an equally crazy thing is music. Now, I don't mean crazy as in amazing and awe inspiring (although in most cases I would), I mean crazy as in something that drives you insane and makes you do stupid and sometimes dangerous things.
The 2007 ARIAs

Being a huge music lover and also residing in Australia means that this time of the year brings something of a highlight. I am talking about the Australian Record Industry Awards (ARIAs) which were held on October 28th.
My European Adventures (part 2 of 2)
I left you last while in a tricky situation where I was about to expose myself to an American family. Luckily their plans were thwarted by the trusty lock on my door. Since that night I have been safe and well with no more potentially lewd moments to speak of. The last days in Malta where spent visiting several awesome historical sites including the 3,800 year old megalithic temple ruins, the Blue Grotto (bloody beautiful), Mdina (the original capital of Malta), Valletta (the capital now) and St Johns Co-cathedral which was the highlight.
My European Adventures (part 1 of 2)

A few months back I traveled to the other side of the globe with my close friend Gianni and made a six country trek around mainly Southern Europe. Along the way I managed to send home a few emails and the response to them was amazing.
Exodus

I am very excited to be writing my first blog purely for the fact that it makes me all warm and fuzzy knowing that people from all over the world can read about my wild and wicked thoughts. One wicked thought is that I would love to not only take over the world, but also the universe.. join us or fall at my hand.
