Top 10 Albums of 2009... Shazam!

Like damn, it is almost February 2010, I just turned 30 and The Simpsons is STILL running. Jeepers creepers I almost forgot to put together my top 10 albums of the year.
This year was a tad disappointing but damn there was some gold too.
So here we go..
Billboard's Top Hip Hop/R&B Tracks of the 2000s

Yes we are approaching the end of another year. However, this one is a little special. It marks the end of a decade. So I thought I would present you with one of what I expect to be a long precession of top whatevers you’ll face in the next few months.
Here we have Billboard’s top 100 R&B and hip hop tracks for the 2000s based on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Decade-End most popular R&B/Hip-Hop songs, ranked by radio airplay audience impressions as measured by Nielsen Soundscan.
My Shed

I submitted the following article for the CBOnline Toot Your Own Horn anual competition. The project encourages community radio volunteers in Australia to tell stories which have had a positive impact on their communities and fellow volunteers.
Die i-pod, DIE!

OK, time to get something off my enormously well developed chest.. or do I have to get something enormously well developed off my chest?
I remember when making mixtapes was an art form. I’m not talking your modern CD mixtape that Drake or Papoose puts out every 24-hours, I am talking about that thing you put in a tape deck! If you are scatching your head you are obviously a child of the 90s.
Old Versus New

During the last few years I have noticed more of a reluctance to purchase albums from certain artists. I thought I would reflect on that a little. Do I make a conscious effort to avoid these albums? Do I simply focus my attention on new artists or have I become bored of these artists?
Only MJ Can Judge Me

It would be an understatement to say that Michael Jackson’s death was a complete shock. I am pretty sure it shocked us all. Not just because of his relatively young age, his incredible achievements and eminent comeback shows, but also purely for the fact that losing people who provide us with so much joy is hard to face.
Thailand

I have been travelling again and once again I have collected various emails sent home and made them into a blog. I'm sure you are calling me lazy now but I think you should still have a read.
Hay folks, I have been in Thailand for 5 days an am about to head down south to the coastal city of Pattaya. Will fill you in with a few things I’ve been up to while frolicking about the capital Bangkok.
Worst Album Covers EVER!

A little about myself, I have been drawing and creating cool stuff since I was 5 years old (hate to brag) so when I see a lack of creative flair, I fume!
Thanks to my lovely friend Mel, a collection of the worst album covers has landed on my door. I am not sure who was the judge behind this infamous mass of crap but I would like to share them with you none the less.

Top 10 Albums of 2008.. boooyaaa!!

When the calendar clicks over to December I know there are several things that ignite a little bit of excitement in all of you. For some it is Christmas, for others it may be the idea of New Year’s Eve being just around the corner, and some may relish school holidays. But for many, it is Chris Z’s top 10 albums of the year! Am I wrong?
100 Greatest Singers of All Time

This is one for the general music lovers. As a frequent reader of Rollingstone, I am always keen to read their '100 Greatest' lists. On this occassion they have put together a list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time with the help of other people in the music biz.
Here it is:
