One of Australia’s most proficient freestyle MC, Mike Justice has the ability to craft a song from begin to end in less than 60 minutes.

“It all depends on how I’m feeling and relating to the music. If I’m in the zone and all stars align (laughs) I can bust out a verse in 15 minutes. And a track with 3 verses, a hook and a bridge in an hour. But of course some other ideas have been developing for years!”

Despite this ability, and unlike the fast food industry, the speed at which Mike can work, does not mean that the audience is losing out on any quality.

On the contrary, as a lyricists and song writer, Mike Justice shows his creative diversity and depth of character on his latest project, For Love, Money & Music.

“Being a mixtape, I wanted to show those who haven’t heard me what I’m about. I take this game serious, so out of respect to all the great lyricists who came before me, I just had to step my bars up! On this project you can hear that I’ve got street cred’, that I’ve got knowledge on this crazy world we live in, can write something soulful , something chill for my ladies, or even write some more, so called ‘commercial’ music.”

The mixtape touches on a range of topics and themes, from a gritty underground sound, to the conscious, political, social, psychological and even a few ‘commercial’ tracks. Adding to the assortment of subject matter, Justice also wrote all of the hooks, bridges and lyrics for the project.

Included on For Love Money & Music are collaborations with Bukkcity, DJ B. TWO (NSW DMC champion) and original production from Durban Poison and Avex.
