Katalyst's new album What's Happening is a thoughtful, risk-taking, bold album that combines a huge array of styles into one great package.

Featuring a huge range of guest talent, as well as his signature production style, Katalyst has created an Aussie masterpiece. All You’ve Got featuring Ru C.L., Hau and Yungun is a great lead off track, which will surely make a big summer hit. Also featuring Ru C.L. is the funky Step Up, and talking of funky the instrumentally wonderful May Have Been James Brown is pure funk, oh…with some very welcome Hip Hop beats. American independent legend J-Live features on the aggressive Killing Ya Self, and his vocal talents are certainly not wasted, as Katalyst matches his lyrics with furious production.

I also love Dedicated, which features Diverse, and is an extremely introspective track that talks of the rigor of dedication to the game, and to life in general.

The perfect album to chill out to in the sun, or to get your party started. This is one Aussie album not to miss.
