This is the second solo release from Perth MC - Drapht. Drapht describes the album as an autobiography. Originally wanting to become a DJ, Drapht has been associated with Syllabolix crew since before they formed. His interests lie in Australian hip hop artists making original and diverse sounds, rather than imitating the American sound, that he believes so many other groups fall victim to. Clearly influenced by his jazz producer percussionist father, Drapht concentrates on percussion as well as jazz sounds.

Who am I ranges in sound style from the dark underground track The Sylla Squad, to the comical Drink, Drank, Drunk. With help from Fdel and Dazastah on the beats and some nice cuts from Armee, we see some slick production that is increasingly evident in Australian hip hop today. Drapht invites friends along for the ride, with Downsyde and Layla featuring on the track Inspiration Island, as well as Pegz, Pressure, Clandestine and others. With some tight beats and enjoyable rhymes, this is one emcee that we will surely be looking out for.
