Bobby Valentino

Free Music - Jay Z, MIA, Koolism

Valentino's first full-length album has mystical touches in its overall slick and sexy production. The album's main producers, Tim and Bob, make this album very appealing particularly to women, as 26 year old Valentino's silky alluring vocals can be felt on each of the tracks. Valentino stepped into the scene at the age of 16 as part of the short lived R&B group Mista back in 1996.

The group had minor success with the song Blackberry Molasses so he had to wait another eight years to get another chance to crack into the music scene. It was Ludacris who signed Valentino to his Disturbing The Peace label after hearing one of his demos. Valentino is the only R&B singer signed to Luda 's roster.

The self-titled album has already produced two singles – the first being Slow Down then followed by Tell Me. The tracks show us that he should be around for a while to come. Guest artists are missing apart from Ludacris who drops in on the song Give Me A Chance and as always he doesn't disappoint. His flow is as strong as ever and backed by Bobby's smooth vocals makes it one of the album highlights. Other highlights include the upbeat Come Touch Me and the tender ballad My Angel (Never Leave You). If anything the album could have been cut back a bit as it does get a little dull towards the end not taking anything away from what is a solid debut, from an artist that should only get better.
